"Through the art of filmmaking, we have the possibility to learn more about ourselves."
Memoria Studio is an independent mexican studio where filmmaking, animation and comic books have a place to be. It all started with Memoria (2023), a short film for Vancouver Film School, directed by José Iván Olivares, our founder, heavily inspired on the work of Chris Marker and Hideaki Anno. It seeks to explore the nature of memory and its connection to art.
